Check the coil connector for corrosion. If it was the plug wires, you would get a P0300, or 301 through 304, depending on which cyl's were not firing.

The codes refer to the continuity of the wiring from the center wire to the coils and back to the PCM drivers. If the wiring connector(s) is/are bad, you will get the codes. I think you have eliminated the coil as the culprit. If there isn't any power at the center wire, it may also cause it, but there also would not be power to the injectors either.

The PCM should be grounding/breaking ground on the outer wires alternately to fire the coils. The center is the common power supply.

The worst case is the PCM has failed, and the drivers are blown. If coil shorts somehow, there isn't any real protection for the PCM.

IDK if one coil can blow both drivers in the PCM.

will i did some serching and people said sometimes the crankshaft position sensor could be bad and i did this test they said and i replace the sensor now it wont start at all i put the old sensor back still nothing put my stock coil back on and nothing im getting spark and fuel im wondering if i jumped timming

You should get a cam/crank sync code if the timing was out enough to not start.

There is a plug in the timing cover, that you can check the cam mark by when #1 is at TDC compression stroke.

You have something causing a lean condition, and the PCM is dumping fuel to compensate. P0171 is a lean code. Check for vacuum leaks, etc.

Or it could be a leak in the exhaust before the o2 sensor. Air entering via a bad gasket, or cracked manifold will throw the o2 sensor lean.

Bill is right about the possible lean condition. My 2000 ES had a problem with going lean until I found a crack in EM under the top heat sheild between the #2 and 3 runners.
