So I have installed these on my SRT last summer and have only driven ~2,000 miles with them. I will say though that I HATE how much the car shakes at idle with the A/C on, as well as the annoying power steering pump whine.

I have heard these get better with time but how much longer am I looking?

The big question is, are these really that much better for the engine overall on a modded car? Or would switching back to some stock ones be no big deal?

First the power steering whine has nothing to do with the mounts.

Second depending on you mods preventing wheel hop is a big plus, unless you like replacing broken axles.

the shake aka vibration should of stopped within the first 200 miles.. you say you are 2k miles in.. something may be wrong with them.. have you check to make sure the bolts are tight.. have you adjusted the top mount to correct specs..?

I have read on other forums this is 100% normal after installation. Mine started doing it literally as I took the first drive with the new mounts.

There will always be some shaking right? They will never be as smooth as stock? The bolts are certainly tight. As far as correct spec do you mean placement of motor or tightness of the bolts?

Motor wise these bolts seem to place the motor in one spot, not much wiggle room.

when i said torque to specs i meant this.. look in link.. it being at the correct measurement helps some.. yes there will still be some vibration but it usually becomes non noticeable after a while because you get used to it. i noticed the vibration at first but then after a while i couldnt even tell any vibration was there.

I will certainly give mine a look over. When I say vibration I don't mean while driving, that is smooth. The vibration is parked, idling, w/ the A/C on. That's when its bad! From reading this seems normal though.
