IDK if anyone sells a kit with valves.
Expense will vary, depending on where you source the valves, and whether or not you have new guides put in. From what I understand, pressing the guides is easily screwed up, damaging the head. So you want a reputable place to do that.
I didn't have any issues with my replacement guides, and was not aware of the problem when I had mine done, so I guess I got lucky.
The valves will be the biggest expense tho. FWIW, the single groove valves are cheaper, and readily available, but that savings is offset because you need to change the retainers and locks to single groove.
If you plan on any porting, do it before you have tha valve seats refinished, so if you should accidentally damage/nick one, it won't hurt as bad. Plus the head will be thoroughly cleaned when they machine it.
If you waited 'till after, you would have to specify they leave it disassembled too, and have to have everything marked where it goes, plus they may not warranty it if they do not do the assy.
Way too much hassle.
