So over the weekend i installed a new alternator. Everything is tight. started it up, it was good. Next day, started it and i noticed a weird clinking noise. Had no idea what it could b. Thought it was something lose and vibrating on something.. Looked around didn't notice anything. Then this morning it was doing it again do on my lunch break i went out to look at it, and it wasn't making the noise! Wtf. Leaving work it did it again, got home checked it out, no idea, took a video, which of uploading now, sounds like it might b something in the alternator, getting knocked around, like a nut? Idk

Before i put the alternator in, i spun it a bunch, bearings were fine

could be the belt is too loose or you forgot to tighten a bolt.

Its defective. Going to exchange it when i get a chance
