Bad Fuel Pump

Been a long time since I've stopped by. Been busy playing/building my newest toy. Neons haven't gotten much love lately.

But anyhow on my 98 sohc it's running out of fuel at a 1/4 tank. Gauge is not off, as when I fill up it only takes about 8.5 gallons. Bad fuel pump? Doesn't make sense but I guess it's possible. Runs great other then that, and it just started doing it.

sounds like a fuel pump. Whne the tank is above 1/4 tank their is enough fuel to cool the bearings when it below the bearings are seizing. Does it start back up after 15 minutes or so?

sounds like a fuel pump when mine went out it fully died and car wouldn't start.
