Driving around today and my car starts screaming bloody murder with any throttle. I've been informed my tensioner pulley bearing might have exploded

not a good way to end my valentines day. Ugh. So now I get to do that along with changing my transmission fluid.

What's mileage on car? Could have missed a milestone interval.

Sounds like standard maintenance to me.

Only 50K miles on the motor. I've read the procedure and I am fully capable of doing it. I'm just not happy about it.

I stand by my post. It's unfortunate, but hopefully we don't all feel the need to "rant" about every thing that annoys us.

only 50k miles, but it is 10 years old. Age does have an impact.

I got the parts and will be working on it today. My belt snapped 40 miles from home. Thank god the alternator is on a different belt.
