Boost?

Post by dakotalharman » Thu Mar 22, 2018 6:20 pm

I got a 2005 Dodge Neon SXT, does anyone think the stock block can handle some boost? I wasn't thinking anything over 10lbs of boost. But as of now I am building a block on the side, new pistons, crank, cams all of that good stuff. But I wanted to drop a turbo on the stock block before I swap.

Stock shortblock can handle boost. Just make damn sure your fuel supply is taken care of.

There have been plenty of people who've run under ten pounds on the stock block. The ones that didn't break had proper fuel setups (like he ^ said) and a tune.
