1g valve cover install (with pics)

I should mention, that I recently installed a 1st gen valvecover onto our 2000.
I'll have to take some pics later and post them up here, 'for future reference'.

Pics of 1st gen ('97-'99) valvecover installed on a 2nd gen, for anyone who wants to reference these pics.


I circled the location of the PCV hose nipple location, near the coil pack, and the actual PCV valve, in yellow.

Note how I 'colored in' blue, the location where I had the PCV hose routed under the #4 manifold runner, for better clarity.

I used a 1998 model year PCV valve, hooked up to the nipple on the intake manifold, near the Throttle Body.
I used a few different pieces of hose, to use as 'adapters' between the PCV and the intake manifold, etc.


Installing a 1st gen valvecover onto a 2nd gen is very easy, and re-routing the PCV is no big deal.
