new exhaust!

Post by eastwoodsn352 » Sat Jun 17, 2006 2:50 pm

so after almost 2 weeks of waiting i finally got my exhaust and i got it welded on today. its the magnaflow catback for the 2.0 neon and i LOVE it. being as i have the SRT-design kit on my car the tips didnt exactly fit up the the cutouts in the bumper but phillip at meineki cut the pipe that the tips are attached to and got everything fit up perfectly...ill post up a sound clip and pictures sometime soon.

hmm...well on the website it says it comes with 3 inch tips and now that i think about it i dont think they are 3 inch tips...hmm might be time to call the magnaflow rep again...yes ive talked to him once already haha but ill measure the tips when i get home and let everyone know and as for mine having a resonator and urs not having one...i think they added the resonator after first releasing it.

edit update!

i ran downstairs *im at work* to measure my tips and they are 3 inchs. also does anyone wanna donate 2 AAA batteries to me? lol

I have a flowmaster 40 series with duals on my 03 sxt. It's as loud as any neon i've heard so far. It has a real throaty sound to it.
