I've read everything on the FREE shift MOD for the auto trans in the above sticky. I don't know if people are just losing interest, but does anyone know if that only aplies to non-NGC cars or what? I've tried several times to try this MOD on my 05' SXT but the wire described is nonexistent on my engine harness. I would have posted this under the sticky but I knew that I wouldn't get the attention that I desire. Has anyone done this to their cars and felt a diff, because any MOD for our 4speeds is better than nothing.

You might want to check out a haynes, chiltons, or factory service manual. I don't know of anyone who has actually done this to their neon yet.
