you would have to find one that matches both the trans and the engine. there is a slim chance that the nv-t350 trans bellhousing will work.

the sti is fast but the wrx is slower and it makes that same time in the 1/4 mi

EDIT: and how much would you spend for a brand new wrx compared to an srt4?

^What are the specs on that trans? I was under the impression that aside from the 01 that came with the 4.12 diff, all the others were the standard 3.94, same as the mag.

If I remember correctly, the Caliber SRT-4 was to be Dodge's answer to Subaru in that it would be able to compete head-to-head with AWD (seeing that it was to be designed with AWD, unlike the Neon SRT-4). So, without being AWD, the Caliber SRT-4 is pointless. And ugly.[/off-topic]

Caliber RT with AWD is a slug -- which brings up the point of WHY make a slower RT with AWD and not the SRT which is supposed to be some 300 hp??

If they made the SRT Caliber AWD I would consider buying it, but if they keep it FWD then it will never come close to compeating with a WRX.

If you go to caliberforums.com (i think that's correct) there's a guy there who has an SRT-4 Caliber that he got on an advanced, customer feedback style lease. He says its FWD and not AWD. It does come with a 6spd and I think it's either the Getrag DMT-6 or the Aisin BG-6.

Here's a link to turbododge.com that has pics of it.http://www.turbododge.com/forums/f11/f3 ... rt4-4.html. The moderators were being douches and shut the thread in this one but its still kool.

Here's another link to caliberforums.com, http://www.caliberforums.com/forums/sho ... php?t=4468. This is that lease thing I was talking about. It's called FastFeedBack. The caliber srt-4 doesn't even come out until tomorrow, officially. (this was posted on the 16th).

The link is to a video of a few different SRT-4 Calibers at a track.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmhlStv1IPw
