Questions about axles, transmissions, differentials, pretty much anything that connects the engine to the wheels, this is the place for those questions.

trouble with something in tranny

Post by supertrick_05 » Sat Oct 27, 2007 4:19 pm

I get a little "shake" when I let out the clutch in 1st and 2nd and sometimes 3rd...what the hell is going on? It just started yesterday and thought it might just be the cold or something...nope, still doing it today! :cussing: Does anybody know what it is, or what it could be? And if it might be covered under warranty?

Possible clutch chatter/shudder? check your warranty, may not be covered tho... if it is considered wear.

lol his warranty would be void the moment he pulled that car into a bay at my local dealership, legalities of it be damned. they'd never do free work on something that looked like that, especially if it had anything to do with the clutch.

because they're dicks like that.

It happenes more when I'm going into a turn from a stop, like doing a U-turn at a stoplight or something.

sounds like axle or diff failure. I had the same thing happening just before diff gave out.

Wow...how much was that to fix? If that's the case, would that be under warranty? I have 7 year/70,000 mile drivetrain warranty
