When I bought the mopure STS and was doing my research, I found that the main selling point of the unit was that the linkage geometry was intact, whereas 'most other aftermarket shifters arent engineered with this in mind'. This made sense to me so I picked one up and it has been a great product ever since. Perhaps the maddogg doesnt have the change in geometry needed so the adjustment has to be made at the screw on the linkage? And where did someone read that the adjustment should be done in first gear?
