PT Cruiser Trans Swap

PT Cruiser Trans Swap

I'm looking to eventually swap out the ATX in my 03 SXT out for a MTX. I have access to an 03 R/T trans, but I'd really like the PT cruiser trans for the better fifth gear for highway driving. My question is what year Cruiser should I be looking for, or what Part # I should be looking for. I noticed on the bottom of my trans that there is some number, but I'm not sure what it is, is that the part number, or where can I find it? Thanks in advance.

Just watch what PT trani you get, the T350's are interchangeable but the 288's may need an axle swap....
