Does anyone know if this piece is worth purchasing or have already purchased and used it. I'm contemplating on buying it because I'm doing a turbo build up on an auto tranny and they say this piece will allow the tranny to take that kind of abuse. Any Advice?

dude, you're not gonna have a 9.99 or faster car. even with the turbo build. my personal opinion... don't waste your money enless you plan on making a strictly drag car.

I already realized this...but I just wanted to know if my stock tranny will be able to hold the extra power, it is auto after all...

hmm... well personally i say swap it out for a MTX, but if you're set on the ATX you're gonna have to wait for somebody else. i don't know a whole lot about these ATX's. that or PM estinmair (SP?). he'll have the answer for you

not really. they're the same tranny from the get go 95? i think they're the same at least. just swing by a junk yard and put in a couple "ware" parts and you're good to go

The trannys aren't that cheap. Atleast not around here they're not. I've seen them as much as $300 for just the transmission..not counting the cables and shifter and other miscellanous items you'd have to get

I can see it being $500 easily, which is nothing really if your tranny is going out. If my ATX dies i'm going to do the swap opposed to getting a new car

wow, I went to a J/Y paid 150 for a engine block, transe, and all the ACC's. had 65,000 on them. It was off a 98 but they all went in my 02. But had to swap the bellhousings. I don't know if the transmissions are at all differant on a NGC car. Wich actualy come to think of it I need to know that. Guess I better start searching.
