Overfull slave reservoir? Improper pedal adjustment? Fork/TOB issue?

Could be a few things... :)

i know its not an overfilled reservoir

and it may be improper adjusted clutch although i personal have never adjusted it
and not 2 sure about the fork/tob

i purchased a new Clutch Master cylinder and installed it and in the process of bleeding it (pumping the clutch pedal) heard a pop and the little plastic retaining ring broke (again same thing that happened the otherday)

so i guess i can try adjusting the clutch pedal and see where that goes but if that doesnt solve my problem any other ideas?

Almost sounds like you're getting too much pressure to the slave cylinder itself. For the record, the factory pedal adjustment is almost all the way out (up). I'd check that and then double check everything else.

this is my problem

that lil piece keeps breaking which causes the clutch rod to pop out and not fully engage the clutch

everything together

replacing that piece gets expensive quick at 50 dollars a pop

Have you tried replacing the slave cylinder? Also, I hope you're not pushing the clutch pedal down while the slave is removed from the trans, that will cause damage according to the factory service manual.

Did you look at the thread of the new ASP product? It replaces all of that with top quality stuff that doesn't break for $300.
ASP - First NGC SOHC in the 13s and the 12s. First SOHC neon over 500whp. First NGC Neon on MS.

It's not actually in a vendor thread. It's a product I recently have developed. It replaces the master, slave, lines, and all the weak plastic parts while still being adjustable like the stock stuff. $300 for the simple setup, or $500 for the setup that helps you launch the car.
