you posted in the general section again. Try the drivetrain section. I don't want you to get banned, but to them it seems like you're trying to.
P.S.

You can build up the 3-spd auto's to handle good power. Forget about the 4-spd auto, it ain't going to happen.

There isn't much of an aftermarket for the 4 spd. Your best bet, if you want to stick with an auto, is to go with a 3 spd. There are a number of aftermarket modifications that can be done to help them accommodate pretty much any power level.
If I recall correctly, the Red Sled uses a 3 spd.
Also, this is getting bumped over to Drivetrain. The other thread you posted in this section was locked for a reason.

Sometimes you just got to get creative with the search fuction.
If you can find the info on the 41te/3.3 v6 on allpar's site there is some more insight.

if you get this technical about where things should be posted then in theory wouldnt nothing ever belong in general questions? last i checked it was a question and it was about something genaral... last i checked heres the deffinition of general :: involving, relating to, or applicable to every member of a class, kind, or group.. just in case you didnt know :s

03 neon? I'd venture to say 180 or so reliably. Probably get away with 225 for a while, but I wouldn't bet on it. Any boost in 4th gear would be bad times for you.

lol i dont think you could even boost in 4th gear it doesnt even rev high enough when you his 4th gear and i suppose 200 mark would be oddles for a daily driver

The idea is that the posts are sorted and organized. If you look at the topics of all the other forums and none fit, then general is where it goes. Any transmission/shifter/axle etc question
clearly belongs in the
Drivetrain section. The general questions forum is more a section for quick questions, if you want to get technical. Make sense?
BTW, just because you think your thread is relevant or that it was posted in the correct section does NOT mean you have the right to disregard this forum's rules. They are there for a reason. If a thread of yours is locked, starting a new one is just another step in the wrong direction. Unfortunately, whether or not it was locked fairly is not your call.

Sounds pretty driveline specific to me. If I were looking for a transmission related answer, I would look in the driveline section first. No need to get all knotted up in a sheep over the thread being moved. At least you got some decent answers, instead of being locked this time.
Edit:
Sheesh! I leave the room for one second! TMFS!

i really dont care if it gets moved doesnt make sence to me is that it just seemed like some one was just power hungry to lock the old topic within an hour

The problem is that the sections get cluttered with the same question/related threads.
Should we have 100 posts that have the same general drift? While that may be stretching it a bit, it would be a reality eventually.
Now back on topic.

Ill answer his question... The amount of power your 2004 electronic controlled transmission can hold is the amount of horse power you have when it breaks...
Dude there are so many variables to consider with a drive train. If you want to build an auto, Go to the junk yard, spend 300 bucks and get you a core 3spd auto trans with a good valve body. then spend another 275 for a modified valve body (need other one for core), then spend another 300 for a rebuild kit and modded valves, high gear drum spring, and a 6 pack of clutches and steels for the new high gear drum your going to build.
now add to that the cost of someone who can rebuild the transmission for you because you obviously cant spell transmission and i would say the bill to build it would be 700 in labor at least.
this has been covered hell, a lot... 4speeds are electronic. 3speeds are hydraulic. use the search function...
sorry mod's I dont usually flame but this kind of struck a nerve

yup your gonna throw codes
you run a switch to the lockup solenoid to get lockup in 3rd gear
