As the title states, I'm wondering if anyone has a good idea for where to install an ATX trans cooler?

Thanks!

In front of the radiator. May not be the easiest place tho. The fascia may need to be removed to properly mount it. If you have A/C it would be tough to use those plastic ties that go through the radiator, as you are supposed to only attach through one unit. Those are not my favorite things anyways. I prefer a bracket to mount it to.

mine is mounted on a bracket, and i was replacing the rad support when that went on, so it was apart and i removed the A/C setup. might not be the best opinion, but it is one.

Hmmm... I plan on removing the AC system this spring/summer. The trans cooler would most likely be using a bracket. Where should it be mounted again? (Once I removed the AC)

This is how I did it, on my ATX Neon.

Once the front facia is off, it makes mounting it much easier, with everything out of the way.

It may not be necessary to remove the facia, but it sure makes things easier, rather than trying to reach up into the opening to mount it.
