non-modular clutch swap... need help asap

Post by wheels04sxt » Thu Aug 19, 2010 6:11 pm

So long story short, modern messed up my order somehow and sent me a non-modular clutch and said they charged me for a non-mod. I need my car back tomorrow so i dont have time to send it back or the extra 200 bucks for the modular.

I have a 95 flywheel and the pressure plate-to-flywheel bolts but need the dimensions for the flywheel-to-crank bolts as they are on backorder through the dealer and i heard they are longer. I did search but only found part #s and i need the actual dimensions. like i said i need my car back running for work by tomorrow.

Also is there anything else i need?

Any help would be great. Thanks

Nick

I searched on the other org, and this question has been asked more than a few times, with no answer, other than the PN. And the parts manual does not list the size.

It list the pressure plate to flywheel size, and everything but.

Possibly measure the difference in thickness between the two, and add that much to the bolt.

Other than that, I have nothing. :(

God forbid we actually measure out what you need. Wouldn't go in there with anything less than metric 8.8 fasteners.

How to fix your car:
1. Buy a Haynes manual
2. Read Haynes maual
3. Read and search appropriate threads, trust us, it's been covered before
4. Fix car
5. Consume beer of job well done
