Whining transmission

Whining transmission

02 neon automatic

I start the car up it whines and moves for a second or so and does no move forward or reverse and whine stops

IF if I rev it up it moves for a few seconds it whines while moving and stops moving does not move again

I is like it is in neutral if it does not move

Trans fluid good and pink not burnt level is good also

Any help appreciated just want ot narrow it down dont want to replace trans if it is not needed
