Transmission Bearing...Cant find replacement

Post by DoubtedNeon » Mon Apr 18, 2011 2:41 pm

So their is a bearing in the transmission that is a 2 peice bearing, the rollers remove themselves from the race. I believe the trans spins on this bearing as it is sealed by on the gears... I can NOT find a replacement anywhere, im guessing these things dont go out very often.

If it helps the race sits in the bellhousing.

I think he wants the bearing for the bellhousing side of the transfer shaft. It's a straight roller bearing with it's own race that's held in place with a bolt and retainer. I don't have the part number handy, but it is available as I've ordered one in the past. Comes with the outer race that installs into the housing and rollers, no inner race as it just rides on the shaft.
