Autostick

I have been considering installing an autostick shifter assembly in my 03 SXT for awhile. Mostly all my questions have been answered by reading various posts on here, but I cannot find a uk shifter. Could I use an 05 pt cruiser autostick shifter? Will it bolt right in and function correctly? If it will, do I only need a cluster with autostick just to see what gear your in?

You would be better off just finding a manual trans and swapping it in.

Perhaps search some more? Your best bet will be to PM Gnuserup as he is the one that has done most of the research on this subject

To convert my car to autostick all i needed was the following

Any 4 speed A604 ( 41TE,40TE ) trans - i already had this

GT Cruiser 2.4T Auto PCM - bought used for 75 and had flashed to my vin

4th PCM ( Green ) plug with the transmission wiring harness, then i had to add the auto trans relay to the PDC and do some random wiring.

GT Cruiser Autostick Shifter - just located and i should have it in about a week.
