'00 MTX trans mount vs. SRT-4 trans mount

Post by Arro » Wed Jul 23, 2014 5:04 pm

Are the '00 MTX trans mounts the same or similar (swappable) with SRT-4 trans mounts?

Ahhh... I have a trans mount on this MTX I bought but when I bought the urethane mount inserts they won't fit... looking at pictures it seems I don't have a genuine Mopar mount so the holes in the rubber aren't where they are supposed to be for the insert to work.

Anyone have a non-SRT MTX mount? Gonna post in the buy section too.

also just puting it out there its a known issue that some oem mounts wont accept the inserts, apparently they used different rubber patterns when they made the mounts.

Yep Justin that's exactly what the case is with this one. It's a new mount though, doesn't look like it has ever been used, so for now I will put it in as is until I locate an OEM with decent condition rubber.

HEY I also need an upper motor mount bolt, broke the one in the SRT and had to steal the one from the '00 Neon.
