t850 trans

Post by 05MoparSRT4 » Wed Jul 23, 2014 9:13 pm

I hope I'm in the right area, but does anyone in NJ rebuild he t850 trans??? It's getting worse by the day. Sad part is i'm low..literally low (200 to my name) on funds. Hoping my parents could lend me money to get my car fixed. I have no other car either so I would need the car back fairly quick. Or at least a trans for sale with no grinds or pop outs

How did you let yourself manage to only ave $200 to your name at age 23?
Might try the regional section on these boards. East coast is full of Neons.

LOL! Really, I'm 24 work 40 hours a week 10 bucks an hour construction job and have even less than that to my name, I barely have enough after bills, gas I spend about 10 a day plus food.

Hard to get your head above water especially when there isn't a lot of jobs around nobody wants to higher younger people with little experience.

I hear the same old shit like, why don't you go to school. Yea where am I gonna get the money or time to do that when you are working constantly. And even if you do there's no guarantee you will find a job to hire you fresh out of school.

The sad thing is it would probably be cheaper to throw a T350 in it's place. Even more sad is a used T350 would probably outlast a rebuilt T850.

Pretty soon that's what SRT guys are going to get stuck doing. Parts are impossible to find for 850's now, nobody makes them and they are all getting tore up.
COME TO MY NEXT NEON MEET!!!

Yeah it's pretty crazy when you can find parts for a 20-year-old turbo Dodge transmission more easily than you can for that 10-year-old T850.
