the oil pressure sending unit threads to the back of the block, either replace your factory one with that (but then the oil prssure light will be on) OR get a T fitting and hook up both. The wiring is pretty much standard, - ground, + switch 12v, illumination to I, S to sending unit.

this also may help

As I am sure you know that type of A/F gauge is useless in forced induction application ( I am assuming you are going turbo because you posted in this forum). That is a narrow band gauge, and the purple wire splices into the black/green striped wire on the o2 sensor. For a turbo you need a wideband gauge.

As for the oil pressure gauge on a 2.0, you need to remove the stock oil pressure sensor and replace with your sender and run the wires.

i know its a narrow, will upgrade when i boost, thanks, now all i need is for is to get my car back from the shop. and i think for the oil I will go with a T Splice. you know while i'm at it i'm gonna do a write up on these.

You have an 2000, you don't need to do the T connection since by disconnecting the stock oil pressure switch it won't turn on the light. 03+ when you disconnect the stock switch will cause a code and have the oil light on. The stock switch is nearly useless anyway

the fitting needed to hook the oil pressure gauge into the back of the block should be a 3/8" x 1/8" adapter, the gauge should come with the line and other fittings to hook it up. wiring is pretty simple, i used my stereo as the power source for all my gauges and didnt have a problem.
i will say that i bruised the hell out of my arm trying to get the sending unit out and the line for the oil pressure in. trying to work around the long tube was a pain in the behind.
just make sure you use teflon tape and keep the line for the gauge away from the header, it's not hard to do, just be careful...
o yeah, plan on losing a little bit of oil when you remove the stock sending unit, no need to make a mess if you dont have to.

Heh, it is a huge pain to get the sender in. I did it with no header/turbo and it sucked still. Its in a really bad spot.

Also, be sure to use YELLOW teflon tape or pipe dope (aka Thread sealing compound) that can resist petroleum products such as oil, gas, ect. Failure to us the yellow teflon tape will result in the oil breaking the white teflon down and causing a leak.

You need to get an adapter because I know with my autometer sender did not come with the right one. Make sure you get the right fitting though if not you will strip the threads in the block.
