graphite03 was running 10 pretty well for a while. but i bet he had that tuned pretty good. if you were wishy washy on the tune, i bet it would let go.

It's all in the tune... get it on a dyno and tuned.. you'll be fine.

Until he breaks the 250ft/lb TQ range and then no matter what kind of tune he has, he will throw rods through the block. If it was as easy as a tune to get the numbers he posted above, everyone would be doing it. But the stock bottom end cant handle it.

yea graphite was on 10psi with his stock srt turbo set up and hit 215 i think...
your not gonna hit 250-275hp range and be faster than a stock srt..... your gonna go boom and spending way too much for a turbo kit when you can piece one together for about 1500 less at least

..research turbos... obviously you have no idea what these engines can safly hold.
Before and major aplication is added to the engine, research, reasearch, REASEACH. It's either that, or you're going to have one very expensive lawn knome.

hmmm. ive been contacting modern performance and hahn racecraft and the turbo kit that hahn would be selling me replaces a lot of the parts neccesary. also, i already know about the new pistons and whatnot, MP told me that the first time i asked them the question.
but you guys are talking about how i can get turbo for 1500 or less?
sigh..im glad i am a part of this site, but damn i need some help on this shit people. help?

Go to the forced induction section here - there are stickies of people who did the build... plus, the MAN of the site (Diablo0) swapped an srt4 engine into his RT... which is the way a lot of people have gone with our knee-yawns... for 4400 you can have an srt4 engine and all its components (MAYBE) plus still be an SXT.
the 1500$ route? Ask those who turbo'd their 2.0's... Kevin_GP I think as well as tooslow, and TurboDudey is doing it soon (??). There are others, but I forget.

it's just not as easy as giving your credit card number. You're actually going to have to go searching for stuff and piece it together yourself.
yeah and i can tell you your bottom end wont hold 10psi, i only had 3000 miles on mine

hmmm... sounds like a big project. ill start doing a lot of research. easiest way to me seems like to replace my pistons and whatnot and go with the hahn turbo system....
but ill debate and research a bit. thanks a lot you guys!

8 psi is max with stock computer if you want to keep your internals inside your engine. Fuel tunning is not the problem, its timing and compression. I have a magnum so my timing is alittle more advanced, or so I hear. I know turbos differ from each other, I have an srt-4 but I would never go over 8 psi with stock timing or without a headshim. It doesnt have much to do with the internals if you are running stock computer, it pulls timing at weird times and is not predictable. If you want to be safe I wouldnt really go over 6 psi unless you know what you are doing with a rrfpr and have some tricks up your sleve.
Also you cant compair horsepower with our cars to srt-4s. I know I am not close to 250 tq (probally 200 or less) but I am faster than lightly modded srt-4s (intake, intercooler, no map clamp). Agian my car is alittle different because of the mag head and barely any options. HP from one engine is not the same to another.
Graphite went to 10 psi but he had a headshim im pretty sure.

I might be selling my "Hahn Racecraft stage 2" turbo kit.
Some drunk fucker backed up into my car and smashed it was parked in front of my friends house and i just starting to think about being conservative because the look of the car gave me a rude awaking! anyways...
i have a brand new hahn stage 2 manifold, stage 2 turbo (new), srt-4 stage 1 injectors (used), walbro fuel pump (new), SPW boost guage, oil temp guage... and some other shit for the turbo... i might be selling it for what i paid, something in the $1,200 - 1,500 range.... not looking to make any money, i posted the link somewhere in the turbo section when i bought it off ebay not that long ago...
if this interests you lemme know.

I ran 10psi safely

with race fuel and a step colder set of plugs
I wouldn't push over 8 on stock internals. Also, get yourself a clutch while your at it. Mine started slipping at 6 psi (srt turbo), so i tuned her and let her loose on 10. Car is sitting in the garage now , lol.

Once again, it's all in the tune. Mine's seen 11.5 psi, and hits hard as hell, and also is faster than an SRT. Note that he's buying the PortFooler. That implies that he's NGC. 9.3:1 compression ratio, not 9.8:1.
Go ahead and run 10psi. Don't use a manual boost controller, as spiking to 12 is a bad idea unless you really know what you're doing to tune it.
