Curious as if a stage 2 hahn turbo full setup would be safe to run on my daily driver 05 SXT ATX.
it says it can very safely run 8-10psi without doing anything to your car (reccomended aftermarket exhaust system only)
and the stage 2 can run 10-17psi with upgrading pistons and rods and a few other things...
but i hear ppl saying " i would NEVER turbo a DD neon...i would buy a srt4 first"
please clear this up and give me some pros and cons here.

Well if you turbo anything that didn't come from the factory turboed you will pay dearly some day
But in all realness you need to get a different motor to turbocharged and build up so you wont be down a motor when you blow it all up

so which would be better...
hahn stage 2 = 4500$ + install and tuning or...
SRT4 swap into my SXT ATX = $????
i dont know the price of the srt4 swap into a ATX trans.

Your ATX would blow up without lots of help on a 2.4. Cheapest way to max out that car would be to get an adapter plate from mattdog on the org, get an SRT turbofold, get SRT injectors, and get a megasquirt. Add a wideband, of course. That puts you under $1500 for a reasonable turbo system to run at 4-5 psi, which is all I'd recommend on a non-built ATX.

SRT-4 Swap because of the horsepower potential factor and support for performance parts. Compared to the parts I offer for reg. Neons and SRT-4s you'll be happier with the options and less Custom Fabrication. When I hade my Neon I was going turbo the stock motor with 8000k on the motor and then I saw the light and got a already turboed car because of the reliability of an already turbocharged motor. Not that I'm baggin on turboiing a N/A car but get the swap and smoke ricers the safer way

SRT-4 swap FTW, but swap the 5-speed in as well. No point in going turbo on an ATX, it's harder to manage your boost when you can't control the RPMS as finely.
Not saying you can't do it, but in most opinions, it's not the way to get the perf from an ATX.
If you can't drive MTX, consider building your engine up a bit and dropping some N2O in there.
