what intercoolers are you guys running?
Ok i've been running my car with no intercooler for awhile now, and i'm more then ready to put one on. What are you guys using? I was told that the Stock SRT intercooler is good and i know you can find them used really cheap. But i've also seen the universal style ones on ebay. What one is going to be the best, with the least amount of bumper cutting? And what about the tubing, would I be able to do it with one of those ebay intercooler tubing kits? or will i really need to get the pipes custom bent and stuff.? Thanks guys!!!

I'm running a SRT front mount off my buddys car. Then I did buy a universal piping kit and cut, beaded and coupled the pipe together accordingly. Now also take into consideration how you turbo sits on the engine and how you want to run your piping. My turbo has a log style that sits on the back, so it sits lower than the average SRT turbo set up. Do some measuring, cut, weld and couple and you'll be okay. Good luck with your set up.

I miss my neon at times. She treated me well and taught me a lot about cars in general. I will always have a special place in my heart for these cars. Heres to the 2gn community.

I got it during a group buy, it was under 200 I believe, but don't hold me to that. And yes, I did feel a difference over the stock srt-4 intercooler, and it stopped pinging at low rpm on hot days.FTWNeon wrote:How much did that run ya? feel much of a difference over the stock SRT?Kevin_GP wrote:Quickwhips direct fit 4 inch core.
