If you are using a srt-4 turbo/manifold then yes the mopar blue plate will work, it replaces the stock surge valve on the turbo.
BTW oil temp is not nearly as important as oil psi.

actually it doesn't replace the stock surge valve. The mopar blue rice plate goes in front or behind, however you look at it, the stock surge valve (bov). all the rice plate does is allow the excess pressure to escape into the air instead of being recycled into the engine. so it's stock surge valve, mopar rice plate, turbo.
just wanted to clear that up before someone tries to run the mopar rice by itself.
If you can afford it, buy yourself a hardpipe for the the charge (cold) side and get a bov there. Just use a block off plate where the stock surge (bov) is. you should see a better hold in boost and such

That and the Mopar BOV gets very annoying after awhile. The donor car had it on when I bought it so I figured what the hell, I'll just leave it on. Well after a few months it got annoying since it goes off in vacuum. I have been meaning to take it off for over a year now and this past weekend it finally came off lol. Thank goodness too b/c now I don't hear that damn thing anymore. Just a quiet release of air back into the intake system which is no where near as loud and annoying as with the Mopar plate on there.
It's a matter of prefrence though. I thought I'd be fine with it, came on the engine... why not. Well... that changed after a few weeks or months...

actually while it is a preference, the mopar rice plate does good for the turbo. That excess air that is being released into the air is hot. So if you think about without the mopar rice plate the hot air is just being recycled into your system, which can actually wear the turbo out faster.

I'm not denying it doesn't help b/c yes the air isn't being recycled... I just find the sound extremely annoying after awhile lol.
