question on the screws for the oil feed

Post by lvlistchif » Sun Jun 24, 2007 7:22 am

ok well i have a 50 trim size turbo but im wondering if these clamps i could use and stick a tube on it that fits very tight and the put about 4 screw clamps thats you use for your intercooler pipeing kinda and run this for the oil feed screw because i know people said never use clamps but i didnt know if that ment like a nipple and then clamp it onto the nipple like directly on the turbo... it seems like this would work just like a braided/steel tube would.. id hang the tube on the metal part about 4 inches then put as many clamps as possible.

in theory it would work but i thought id ask.

also im wondering how many millimeters is a -3 size tube? cause im not 100% sure if this would even be thick enough to run on a 50 trim size turbo. also do i need to remove the screws that are in the block that the stock oil feed lines connect to then just run this straight into the block instead of those gold screws?
