as a side note to this, I knew a kid with an MR2 that bought a Delta80mm high flow fan (really loud PC fan, something like 150ish CFM), put it in the airbox and *swore* he could feel the :quotes: boost :quotes:

What a tard.

But no, they don't work unless you are using a 5 horse briggs and stratton motor in your neon.

I've heard of guys using this ^ hobby motor that runs at 24,000 RPM and equipped with that ^ that Watt-Age 3'' or 4'' fan and producing about 15hp.

As in using it to blow a go kart, not a neon.

Hey, 1psi is still 1psi! I'd take it over nothing.

This is a thread on TurboDodge.com that goes into this a little further.

I, personally, wouldn't waste my money or time on them. I think they're worth a little more reseach but not viable right now. You would almost need the mythical "Perpetual Motion Machine" to get the thing to work. They list one that'll do like 12psi but it takes 3 batteries wired in parallel (I think) and you only get about 30 seconds of boost or 2-3 passes down the Quarter mile.
