ok ive been running the n2o all summer.. wow the best thing ever, i started with the 55 shot then with greed went with the `75shot (zex kit) and actually been running great. now winter is here and im planing on upgrading some internals, so i can run with the 75 shot with a bit more comfort. Now my plan is that porting my head, nothing to radical, and the comp 400 cam. so a mild top end build. So none the less the bottem end i would like to up grade and the copression ratio is my problem... what would be a good comp? i was THINKING 10.5:1 and some h beam rods? can someone help me out.

what year car do you have?
It would be best to fill out your signature or garage so that people know that for future reference.
running 10.5:1 will require premium fuel, and with nitrous you might have to be careful with that. i'm no nitrous expert, but i would be concerned with detonation.
nitrous and compression love each other, its just you need the right gas to be able for them to be happy.

since you have an 02, the 10.5 should be good. when you are not running nitrous 92 octane (R+M/2 method) would probably be sufficient.
I really don't know about how that much compression and nitrous would work with pump gas. I do not have much experience with nitrous.
I am going to learn though, but it won't be for a couple years. I am thinking of building a 550 - 600hp big block and then spraying 200 - 250hp of nitrous into it, but when I do that I will more than likely use 118 octane as my enrichment fuel. I will actually have a separate tank for the enrichment fuel, vs pulling the fuel off of the rail on an efi system.
