Timing control?

Post by gabrielriley » Wed Nov 14, 2007 10:30 pm

I have a stock SRT turbo in my 03 SXT and it is functioning. I am about to go with a Hahn portfueler for my fuel management. Stock internals for now.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should use to control timing and ignition?

Do you have yearly or biyearly emissions checks in your area?

Megasquirt it is then. It will also handle your fuel, so don't bother with a portfueler.

I was going to suggest the same thing.

The power of megasquirt is unbelievable. Also it will do the fuel and spark for half the money of a portfueler.

Ok, where can I find more info about the megasquirt?
The one thing I did not like about the megasquirt is that you have to putting it together.

Is it a pain in the A$$? Can you buy one preassembled? Is it hard to tune? Is it a wiring nightmare?

Maybe someone can point me in the right direction so I can do some more research about it.
