No more adapters.

I was over reading on the .org that Mattdog wont be making his adapters anymore for the srt turbofold.
http://forums.neons.org/viewtopic.php?t=221612 So I was wondering (beside the fact if people sell theirs once the decide to move on to a different car or w/e) what other options do we have if some already have the turbofold and everything needed minus the adapter? Or would we have to sell them and start from scratch?
Sorry for the question I was just curious.

2 opions I see...
1) Get both flanges and make your own... Alot machine work will be needed of course and some thinking... Should be hard but maybe expensive if you don't have own the tools...
2)Swap heads with a 2.0 dohc and it'll bolt up... Might have to do some modification to the Dohc Intake to work with our tb but I don't think its that hard... Cheaper for me, since I can find them (complete DOHC head and Intake Mani) pretty cheap..
Anyone else??

See now I knew that it would bolt up with the dohc head, but everytime I went to try to look up info about a head swap, I couldnt find much, basically everyone was saying "No it cant be done" or "you'll have to change computers" or this or that, so I'm not sure on the head swap, o well maybe I just didnt search hard enough.

Well don't know who you're listen too but yes it can... the block is the same just the piston heads are different... You don't need another computer cuz you can use the one you have.... just needs a lil wiring... you splice the other cam sensor wires into the harness and you're good to go... I kno this cuz I once thought bout doing so....
I'll ask my friend what else is requuired to make the dohc work...

Well I hope for you guys that someone picks up the ball on the adaptor plates. Swapping heads might work but man, that would be a pain to do along with all the other crap required to turbo your car. I know alot of adaptor plates are out there and will end up on forsale boards. Eventully I wanted to upgrade to a 50 trim or similar from an srt-4 and keep my adaptor plate. I bought mine as a prototype back when it was under 100 dollars

If I ever get in a place where I have access to a CNC mill, I will make them. But don't hold your breath on that.

Yea I knew that too, my short block on my car actually came off a 98 R/T when I had to have my bottom end rebuilt.

Yea same here, bc Id really hate to get rid of this turbofold. O well if I cant figure it out, looks like I'll be tryin to turbo my old 1st gen and try to figure somethin out for my 2nd gen.
