95-99 2.0 sohc turbo on a 00-05 2.0 sohc?

iv seen so many kits every on the internet for a 2.0 sohc 95-99 will it fit on a 00-05 sohc? i mean from pictures they both look like the same motor, and why wouldnt it work?

and this is a dumb question but iv always wanted to know what would happen if you put a bov on a non turbo car? do you think it would make any noise?

It won't make any noise because there is no positive pressure to release.

A turbo for a 95-99 SOHC should work on a 00 - 05 SOHC.

It will work, but the intercooler piping is different. Also, the electronics on a 03-05 limit you etc etc etc...

Sometimes the turbo kits on ebay for 95-99 is only for DOHC motors.

There's never a dumb question.....
But do a google search on blow off valves and read what there for, that will get you all the info you need....
I can answer your question, but search first you'll learn about:
BOV's
Compressor surge
Compressor maps
Intercooling
Backpressure...etc..etc...
