Wastegate question on stock srt-4 manifold

Post by LionheartedSXT » Sat Jun 21, 2008 12:42 pm

So I have an srt-4 mani for a turbo build and it came with the mani, turbo, wastegate, and surge valve...and i noticed that the arm of wastegate actuator comes off pretty easily off the switch of the wastegate, is there supposed to be like a holding pin present in there to hold the arm down on the switch?

yes. its a clip, not a pin tho. Just get a cotter pin and bend it back after you put it thru.

I already did something about it but I just wanted someone's opinion on it. I took a piece of metal from one of those things you hold corn with and bent that around it. cheap, but effective lol
