Please tell me if any of this is untrue (trying to get my plans organized in my head):

1. A standard T3/T4 is a T3 with a T4 compressor side
2. All T3s and T4s have the same mating surface diameter
3. A turbine (exhaust) housing from a T3/T4 hybrid will fit on a standard T3

The reason I am concerned with this is I have a very nice water-cooled T3 with a Chrysler T3 flange and a cast manifold with a standard T3 flange. I would like to get a exhaust housing off of a T3/T4 because it is cheaper to buy a new hybrid turbo than to buy a T3 exhaust housing by itself.

There are different measurements. t3/t4 is a pretty broad generalization. Covers small turbos and large turbos alike. I'm still considering doing a t3 flanged turbo on my car that's capable of 750hp.
