Estemanier is probably the only 2GN non SRT that ran 12s on a stock block here in 2GN, so I would honestly have to take his side when he states its all in the tune. People have been turbocharging the 2.0 SOHC motor for years and properly setup will have good reliablitiy and descent power.

I know one other person that's ran a 12 on a stock sohc bottom end, and he just barely touched 12's, like a 12.95.

Stock block, mag cam, s16G turbo, log manifold, stock intake mani, 3" downppipe, stock catback, and megasquirt. Also, slicks and skinnies.

haha... nope. 3.55 with a PT clutch. Cracked the disc on the launch though. A week later it blew up the rest of the way.

*sigh* I leave for a few months and posts like this are still going out.
It saddens me that some of our older members still haven't grasped the concept of turboing a neon. Yet, they seem to think they know every thing about it.
I vote only Chris and Erick can talk about turboing a stock neon. Ever. Period.
