Ive asked this before with no good answer but I believe my vacumn lines are garbage or installed incorrectly. Does anyone have a really good diagram as to how they are supposed to go on and where they go rather. Ive got a stock 05 SRT-4. Its only been making around 7 psi or less, around 4000rpm boost cuts down to about 3 psi, would my lines be at fault for this?

Probably not. Sounds like a bad turbo bearing or a boost leak. Something more mechanical, like the turbo just can't keep up.

Im kinda thinkin the lines are leaking boost but I aint got a clue. We've never messed with a turbo before so.....yeah... thanks for the thought though.

Sounds like a freaking boost leak. Check your charge pipe, hotside pipe and coldside pipe. You're probably leaking somewhere. Get t-bolt clamps at napa for all the intercooler piping. Hell I put 2 clamps on my charge pipe to be extra sure.
Vac lines will vary depending on how you want your system setup. PCM controlled boost or wastegate controlled. I would keep it PCM until you get that AGP wastegate since the stock wastegate is NOT adjustable and you would be pushing 4psi no matter what you did. (Save for a mbc)

Yea, I am leaning towards boost leak on this one, too.
First just try checking all the pipes and clamps. Make sure everything is tightened down properly. Then give it a shot. If you are still having issues you might try a boost leak test. You can make you own tester very inexpensively. You might even have the materials needed sitting around...

these cars develop boost leaks all the time. If you can afford to, get some better clamps, and possibly a metal cold-side pipe, that one seems to cause a lot of issues.

We did a boost leak and test and found the green vacumn line to have a hole in it. Fixed that and then found the intercooler pipe on the passenger side to be leakin. I tightened it up and we showed 12psi on the boost gauge and about 20 at the valve stem. I took it out on the highway and gagged on it to make ZERO BOOST. WTF! Im showin codes 420(some Cat shit) and 304(Cyl 4 misfire) Im not sure if these have anything to do with my boost issue or not. We checked around every other tube, pipe and line and they werent leakin. Checked around the surge valve but it wasnt leakin. I kinda think it might be but on the back side.

Is that the hose going to the intercooler on the bottom side of the turbo?

Well I found out the blue vacumn line is leakin on the right side around some little cap. I could hold it and itd stop leakin. Then I could hear another slight leak behind the turbo. I have tightened the shit outta all the camps too.

Yea, that turbo outlet coupler/pipe majiger they have going on there can be a real PITA sometimes. Get the blue line fixed and have another go at it to see if that solved the problem.

Double clamp the charge pipe so there's no way that bitch is flying off

Few more discoveries. My buddys ECU scaner showed 77 percent throttle opening. We also think the ECU maybe be bad too. Guess the solienoids could be bad too tho. Idk yall got any better ideas?

I remember reading something about throttle openings not being 100% as normal.
