What SRT lines/hoses/pipes fit ???

Post by LCPLPunk » Wed Oct 26, 2005 9:35 pm

I'm trying to figure out if any piping/hoses/lines from the SRT turbo setup will work with the turbo install.

It seems every person I talk to has a different opinion. Some say they work, some say none do, what's the deal?

Who HAS used them?

As far as the IC piping....the entire HOTSIDE should work...as long as you are using an SRT FMIC......the Cold Side will not work....

As far as feed/return lines....I'm not real sure...talk to weber on here.....or grindpunk

I used all the stock oil and coolant lines on my car. From what I hear the stock hotside will work, but I had mine custom made anyway. Srt downpipes will also work. I'm using the agp 3" on mine.

03+ will work. anything else has to be custom made.

If Evil is right it seems like the hot side piping works and that's it.

I'm pretty sure that is correct that the hot pipe would work. The cold howevr will not due to the SRT intake mani being different and the TB coming out at a downward angle vs ours coming out at more of an upward if you have the magnum mani or more strait out if you have the non-mag mani.

ya, all cold pipes MUST be custom made unless you have done a SRT swap.

The hot pipe might now work because of a few minor differences in previous years, but all the srt lines(oil + coolant) will still work

out of curiosity, do you still have to flip the srt IC like on the first gen to have it fit better, or is it a direct slidein for the 03+s?
