As opposed to?
An A.S.P or Hahn kit is the single best bolt on as far as power gains but it is also the most expensive and most time consuming

dude you gotta decide what is "best" for YOU not what is "best" for the sohc! what do you want out of your car? speed? driveability? what? (i know this will sound like yoda) only then can you decide the path of mods that is BEST! just let us know what you want instead of using vague words like best, and if you want speed how much? if you want cheap, how much? and if you want handling, what kind? racing, auto-X, street?

turbo is the answer. you would have a chance at throwing your car at a force of 300 hp than having an NA 300 hp 2.0L neon

well asperformance by eric would give you a full on bolt-on turbo kit including MS for around $3700 i think. since you refuse to search or read faqs then
here it is literally six posts below this one. i am really not trying to be an ass im just saying this has been covered so much that it is common knowledge (i think) to almost everyone on the forum. eric is the guy with the screen name of esteinmaier. keep in mind this guy that wrote the review decided to
NOT follow the instructions and customize the asp turbo kit...basically the asp kit (as far as i know) is a direct bolt-on. hopefully since you choose to not search then maybe you will at least read some of these posts in this topics

A piece it together kit is cheapest. And finding deals/waiting for them to arise works well too. I'd do ALL preventive maintainence before you boost it, though.

Just READ READ READ. Kinda strange for someone to be ready to drop several G's on their car like this, but refuses to research or act as though they've got ANY idea as to what they're doing.

Your dude? Bullshyt? I understand you don't want to waste your money on nonsense / useless parts, but you're short, inexperienced posts aren't going to give you ALL the answers you need.

What he is trying to say is we see this all the time people come on here with huge goals for their project only to see it not 3 months later in the parts for sale section because they didnt plan ahead.
Read read read and understand before you drop a penny. Dont ask what turbo kit should I buy ask What makes up a quality turbo kit and what will I have to add to it

We give you the turbo kit. The only things you need are some vacuum line, a clutch, and a wideband o2 controller of your choice. It's that kind of simplicity that you need. Unless you can tell me in the next 5 minutes why I recommend you aim for about an 11.5:1 A/F ratio in boost, you don't have any business piecing together a turbo kit. Yes, researching it is a good start, but knowing if/when something is wrong is key in differentiating between a fast car and scrap metal.

Fail on your double fail. I was highlighting my own to show I knew the difference between "your" and "you're."

Dude. That's what Derek quoted! Then I quoted my own words to make it obvious I understand the difference and that he caught me making a fool of myself. Sorry brah, we're fightin' for the same team right now.
NOTE* Bullshyt is not typically in my vocabulary. I was simply reciprocating what the OP had used.
