Looks good, your srt-4 intercooler didnt work because of the hot side inlet? Let us know how the e-manage works out as well. Ive decided that if my sfmu gives me enough problems for chirstmas im getting myself megasquirt

The SRT IC didn't work because my ATX tranny sticks out too much. That would be the driver's side of the car, whatever hot/cold side that is.
If my install guy answers his phone we should be tuning it today with the Emanage.

I didn't install it.

Anyways, things are not looking good. I was supposed to meet up with my install guy at about 1 today to tune it, but he still hasn't answered his phone.
He told me not to drive it around since it's running really rich, but i have Finals next week and i need my car!!

it's probably rich because you're using the srt injectors with no way to set base fuel pressure...the 1:1 will raise the pressure in the rail according to boost, but what will give you the extra fuel pressure to put more fuel into the engine as your're sucking in more air? i know you can control the pulsewidth with the piggyback, but unless emanage is a lot more hardcore than what i've read i dont know how you can get away with not having a variable rate regulator... on my standalone, i dont need regulators or return lines because the computer controls the fuel pump and the injector pulse, so it'll set the base fuel pressure on its own... emanage on the other hand only controlls the pulse width unless i'm wrong, so you still need the pump to give you the extra fuel some how. you have spent a lot of money on the parts you have in there now so i know you wouldnt cheap out on this, so either i'm missing something or your mechanic forgot to tell you something. i hope it's the first...

From what i've heard from my install guy the Emanage should be all i need. I'm gonna be using the Injector Harness and Pressure Sensor.. ;P

gonna keep it just like it is.
I had a big scare today guys...
Iwent with my installguy and we drove around and tried to tune it, but it seemed when i floored it that it wasn't any faster than stock. My guy said it was my ATX tranny, but i knew something was wrong.
To make matters worse the wideband scraped on the floor and stopped working, so forget finishing the tuning. Anyways, i get home and talk to EvilCreations and Evo Neon and they say i've got a boost leak, so..i check all my hoses, and in the process i find that one of the hoses completely came out of it's silicon coupler, so hte air was basically blowing out. I found out the pipe was too short, so i had to run to Midas to get one, and with the new pipe..we have.......BOOOOOOOST!
Only 4psi or so, but on Wednesday i'm gonna go get it tuned on the dyno at 8psi, and we'll see how it works then.

The good news is, i fabbed

Yay. Get that damn thing tuned now... HURRY!

We are more impatient than you are. HAHA!

can you take a but of pics of the manifold and turbo and the area around it...i'm thinkin about maybe doin the same set up ...but runnin a non intercooled set up and runnin a pipe from the turbo to the tb....but i'm unsure of the clearance...and i wouldn't want to go under the motor

boost leaks always suck
Try running 15-20psi of boost then you hear a loud BOOM...you'd sware you blew the motor up. My daytona's intercooler piping ended up using exhaust clamps to hold everything to gether...

ya, my install guy said using T-clamps would be best but i didn't think i'd need 'em THIS soon.

In reality it wasn't the clamp though, it was the shortness of the pipe.

well..the car is tuned! It's only at 5psi right now, but it spikes to 10 and holds at 5. I'm gonna get a new MBC from Evil and see if that fixes it. Then, it's 8psi!!! oh ya!
I dynoed at 156hp/158tq on 5 pounds, and it pulls like mad, it's awesome! I even had my first set of races tonite. I beat a newer Toyota Camry about 3 times.
I'm expecting about 190whp when i up the boost to 8psi, so we'll see.

As for the boost spiking, I dont think its the MBC causing the problem...

a/f looks good.
What do u think is causing the spiking?
