fuel line help!

Post by XxWhiteNeonxX » Sun Jul 17, 2011 7:50 pm

For my turbo setup, im using a walbro 255 with a spoolboy modded canister.. Im going to modify the stock line so i can use it.. But, i still need to run a return line. So my questions are:

what size line should i run ?
Where is the cheapest place to buy it ?
how many feet will i need?
links?

thanks!

Go to the junkyard, pull a stock fuel line, use it for a return.

thats a good idea. Only problem is the junkyards around here are stupid as hell and would tell me i have to buy the whole car to get the fuel line.

My dad told me i should use this stuff. He says it easy to work with.

That's exactly what I used to run my feed and return. Honestly, If I were you, use the stock line as the return and use that new bigger line as the feed.

It's pretty easy to work with, and a lot cheaper than SS braided hose. You'll just want to get a bender to make some nice angles. Grab some rubber clamps for mounting, and some -AN sleeve/nuts to connect to -AN fittings.

I would just run -6 feed and return. You can do both with a 25ft roll of aluminum tubing and have plenty left over along with some rubber line and fittings. Just a heads up DO NOT use summits pushlock hose for fuel line. They will tell you it works with fuel, well less than two months and 1600 miles that crap swelled and started to come apart.

Realistically, you dont NEED a return line, you can just compensate in your tune. What size injectors? At 59psi, stock stage1 srt4 injectors will obviously function adequately.

Or that. Far more accurate.
