on stock ecu? NO.

with some sort of fuel management, it depends on the tune and turbo.

go read through every single turbo thread for the next 3 months. Then ask some leftover questions, then start buying turbo parts. Feel free to look through my progress log, as I'm boosting a SOHC this weekend

36lb injectors, an aem fic would work well doing fuel and spark timing management. On your car the auto complicates things with going with a Megasquirt. Doable but not as easy. SAFC will not work for turbo.

8psi on a small turbo will be fine.

Yeah 8 psi is fine but on completely stock atx 14 psi will blow the teeth right off the clutches... I'm speaking fromexperiance I just got done swapping my 2000 to manual.

8psi on a stock engine is doable but keep in mind that your engine has high miles. expect to rebuild down the road. A lot depends on how hard the engine was run and taken care of but I would expect problems eventually with that high of mileage.
