looks like your missing the clamp that holds the turbo/maifold together, just need to get the oil and coolant lines..

Looks like the coolant feed/return. You can see the oil return below them.

Are there two more on the other side? From what I can see from looking at other pics of a srt turbo, one of each pair is blocked off. They are the coolant ports though as far as I know.

Take a look at the pics in this post:

i will post some more pictures of the other ports tomorrow, i do see how he has the 2 sides having 1 port plugged each in that previous link sent. I wonder if i can use any clamp or have to order one from the dealership to be all airtight and what not.

would any of you guys having some kind of diagram for the srt4 turbo's ports?

ok, someone ran off with my camera but they came back withit, so i took some more pics, i dont know how i missed this the first time, but my ports are blocked off where the srt4 ports are blocked off, how ever in that link posted like it was said, only one of each pair is blocked off.. if the turbo was bolted on and you are looking over the hood, here they are as follows:

top - the srt4 has one main metal line coming out of this, i guess the oil line..
Image

bottom - i have no idea what goes here, I can not see under neathe on any srt4's
Image

front(facing head) - these are the ports that are blocked off, i didnt notice these the first time, i thought the back was the front.
Image

back(facing firewall) - these are 2 open ports, as well, unsure what is going to it either, can not see them on a srt4

The one on the top is the oil feed, the odd looking port on the bottem is the oil drain. The 2 ports facing the fire wall is water feed/return.

It looks like you are missing the v-clamp, oil drain tube, oil feed, and water feeds.

sweet, to be sure im on track

the vclamp is going to be what is holding the turbine to the manifold correct? and the other parts you listed

the return line fittings, oil drain fittings etc should be just fitting ordered from dodge?

the coolant in line is coming from the overflow bottle split,
the coolant outlet is to the lower rad hose split (it is drawn out by the water pump??)

i hope this isnt a stupid question, but the oil drain line, where is this routed to? back into the oil sending line to be reused?

im still trying to learn as much as i can so that i can do the install my self so that when shit hits the fan ill have an idea how to maintain the whole system!

thanks to everyone helping.

The most of your parts can be had at the dealership except for one. The clamp that hold the turbo to the manifold can't be purchased seperately at the dealership...

do you know if this is some kind of pressurized clamp? or would any clamp work. i tried to get it from dodge and they indeed said they only sedd the unit as a whole like you said...

i did some searching and found these $40 v band clamp kits, this should be what im in need of, correct?

3rd product down

Yes, thats the style clamp you need...
But damn there expensive!
I wonder if the exhaust clamp off an intrepid would work...
4581013AC - $24.45 msrp....
Intrepids,concordes,300m's use a v clamp where the exhaust pipe meets the exhaust manifolds...looks just like the one for an srt....

it is sort of pricey.. i was also thinking about junkyarding for one, but i think ill just buy it new. i ordered my coolant and oil lines today, everything came to 60 some bucks with a discount.

I been searching for a nice diagram, trying to figure out where the oil drain line feeds to? back into the oil pan?? Tees into the oil feed to cycle back thru? or any of the above will be good?

also got my venom 255lph fuel pump today! yay. should be just as good as the walbro i supose (*i hope)

You have to tap the oil pan for the return line, or you can just drill a hole and use a bulkhead type fitting, just make sure its above the oil level when the car is resting. Make sure you remove the pan for this part, also, while the pan is off, you may want to make the oil pickup opening larger.

If your car is an automatic, make sure you pick up an auxiliary trans cooler.

good luck with your buildup, and remember to do something about boost control, as the SRT stock wastegate is set to 14.5lbs. Thats way to much for a stock bottom end.

Actually, the wastegate actuator is set for 4lbs. The srt uses a solenoid controlled by the PCM to increase boost. Boost controllers can't lower boost from the base setting, only raise.

Huh, news to me. Damn PCM controlled boost....damn you!!!!!!!!

Most turbo wastegates are preset low like that 4-7lbs:wink:
The solenoid and pcm use a combination of vaccuum and boost to control the wastegate....
