qwk help needed for vac lines

where do I route the vac lines on a 2.0 w SRT turbo?

I am assuming that the one that goes from the turbo to W/G actuator gets spliced for the boost controller, is this correct?

does the other one just go to the fmu? Does one need to go to the TB?

Which one do I splice the boost guage into?

Thanks in advance

Usually the WG actuator connects to a nipple in the turbo compressor outlet. MBC would go in between the vac signal and the WG actuator. The rest need to be connect to a vac source AFTER the throttle plate. I used a vacuum block and tee'd from the brake booster line.

Examples of some vacuum blocks:

Bling

Cheap

I have the Golden Eagle piece, either one will work.

Makes running vacuum lines easier. Other wise, you can just tee into the brake booster line for each thing that needs vac signal.

On the turbo there are two nipples, one (the bigger one) is the same size as the one on the wastegate, the other smaller.

So one line just goes from the bigger nipple to the wastegate, and the other goes to the brake booster where the boost guage will tie into it and the FMU will be spliced outta there as well?

I'm not sure what the second nipple on the turbo is for, but you don't want to hook it up to the brake booster line. I'm guessing you'll need to cap that second nipple.

Is yours an SRT turbo?

 So to get on the same page, I have an SRT Turbo, I need to hook up an fmu, mbc, wga, and boost guage, Please by all means spell it out for me, preferably if you have an SRT turbo on a 2.0

I need this done and tuned by sunday for BR06 where Ive been "called out" by an sr20det swapped 240, this is all thats left.

Dont mess with the brake booster. Wastegate/boost controller to the turbo scroll. Boost gauge, bov, fmu to the intake mani. Go out and look at your vac lines you will figure it out. Make sure you clamp all your vac lines and make sure you tighten your pvc valve otherwise you will have boost leaks.

Where do you think the brake booster hose goes to? It is probably the easiest way to get a vac signal to the guage, bov, and rrfpr/fmu.

I know the brake booster hose goes to the intake mani, however that particular hose falls off pretty easily. I was just messing around in that area and the hose poped off. Running a bunch of T's and vacuum blocks off that line may not be the best idea. Theres other hoses that run off the intake manifold, they all take about the same time and effort to tap into. All I ment is that, I personally wouldnt mess with the line that goes to the brake booster, but to each there own. You can get your vacuum sorce from lots of places, they will all work.

I just mentioned it cause it was easy to see and get to. Mine's clamped on, and I only have one tee to my vacuum block. I guess you could also tap into the pcv line, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you had a catch can. Last ditch is to drill and tap your intake manifold.

how about T'ing off the hard line on the back of the TB (under the IAC)? seems like a good place maybe,

As long as it is after the throttle plate, it should be fine.

If im running a 12:1 fmu with a 1:1, what order should they be hooked up in?

I currently have it set up from the fuel rail to the 12:1 to the 1:1 to the return, with vac going to both, is this right?

also, a stg1 SRT BOV just bolts on right? cause its on but i dont hear it.
