yeah the srt mid and rear section wont do much for hp from what i have learned on these forums... everyone says go with a good header and then go like 2.5 inches all the way back but i am running everything stock with just the srt rear section and i like it... but im not going for performance

you should have the dealership replace your stock cat for free, apparently they're required to up to a certian number of miles per some EPA regulation. One of the knowledgable dealership employees on here should be able to explain that a bit better.

Then you can get the hi-flow, and put the stock one back on whenever you sell the car, and sell the hi-flow.

2005 should be 7 years/100,000 miles IIRC. Possibly only 80,000. an exhaust shop won't touch it untill it has exceeded one or both depending on the shop. But if you're doing it yourself, then it doesn't matter. Unless it's leaking from road damage it should be warranty, and I would go with Wenuden's advice.

I have the vibrant and I prefer the looks of the single exhaust.

go single exhaust...no extra bends means freer flowing!
the srt rear section gives horrible droning sounds in cabin!

That only holds true against the SRT-4, if you're not using a muffler in the rear section. There isn't much weight in an SRT rear section. It is far lighter than the OEM muffler for non SRT's

A single 2 1/4" will flow fine up to around 400hp. Dual is mainly for looks. Personally, I like a clean look so I'm running a single with the tip tucked under the rear bumper cover, see my Garage pics. Looks good, sounds good and it's simple.

I have a dual on a 2.0 sohc.

it just looks nice, you notice a little gain (if that) and sounds nice.

I am about to get rid of the dual for right now and just run a single outlet for now, and no its not going to be over 3" hahaha, the coffee can thing isn't for me.
