Well it was just regular gravy, but putting man, gravy, and indecent images in the same sentence...
About a second after reading it, I was trying to gouge my mind's eye out with a fork, after my subconscious connected the dots.
The guy wasn't very bright though:
Lets see, I has child porn on my PC, but I destroyed it, so let's take it to Best Buy so they can transfer the files off the hard drive. They won't look at anything....
If you even remotely think there is a chance something could be hidden away on your hard drive, NEVER take it anywhere to have it fixed. Slap a new hard drive in and give them the install disk, or be smart enough to download a copy program and do it yourself.
Or just stay away from questionable stuff altogether.
One of my friends teenage son and his buddies used his PC to "search the web". A month or so later the PC had some issues. Took it to Best Buy.
They found one image on it.
Cops were called.
Cops seized the PC.
Cops had big investigation.
My friend had no clue how it was on there. Finally his son fessed up that they might have looked at some questionable sites. If he hadn't confessed, my friend probably would have done some time. Since his son was a minor, they let him off with some fines and a stern warning.
But overall, it would have been easier and cheaper to just buy a new hard drive or PC, which they had to do anyways, because the cops never returned the one they seized. I could see keeping the hard drive, not the entire computer. But I guess that's better than jail.
