In my opinion, its just not too smooth (or good) looking to see ALL of that dark space around where the tire is.
The car is no GTO, but look at the kind of wheel gap on the Chrysler and this.....

The wheels probably tuck into the fenders, so it just looks lower. Could you imagine making a car that's suspension has 1" of travel stock?

its not all about if the wheel hits the fenders or not. its bout how low it sits. most people would like a soft ride, not something that when u go over a bump or pothole, your head hitting the roof of the car. anyhow, i dont think people care about the "4x4" look, as long as it gives a good ride and has plenty of clearance for it not to bottom out or scrape, thats all they care.

My car rides on bricks....My suspension is terrible. One day my dad took my car out and he ran over a pot hole and made my rear view mirror fall off. Its so damn stiff (no jokes) with that car. I feel EVERY little bump or piece of tar or rock, not to mention a bump in the road. One of these days my wheel is just going to fall off after hiting a bump. And NO I don't hall ass over bump and stuff.

it must not be stock then. go back to stock and you'll be satisfied. then your rear view mirror wont fall off.

Blown struts or bad coils. Stock suspension doesn't ride that much better... When I got my car lowered with new struts and springs I didn't really notice a difference.. Plus it looks really good.
