My friends 300z project.

Post by MyNeonSaysHi » Tue Jun 27, 2006 1:33 am

My friend has a 91 300z that was not turbo'ed. About a month after he got it he was fuking around and did a burnout and he basically fukd his engine up. Look at it this way... He had to get full coverage insurance on it since he got a car loan for it, so he is paying for full coverage and paying the loan off on his undriveable car. Now that sucks! I think its been around 6 months too since he fukd it up. He finally saved some money and got another loan for a different engine. He is putting one of those twin turbo motors in there. They got 2 throttle bodies. 300hp. He rented out a storage unit and has been working on his car there. Transmission fluid, oil, Freon, you name it, is spilled everywhere in this storage unit. I am just happy for him and proud that he is gonna get his car runnin again, I just hope for the best. He's got it in there, he just now needs to put everything back together. Here are some random quick picts.

I am glad I drive a Neon cause those things look like hell to mess with.

Nissans are awesome, but you have to nearly disassemble the motor to change the plugs.

He was telling me about the spark plugs, saying there is a coilpack for every spark plug on his new motor... also there is a PCM on his tranny. When there wasn't on his old one.

My brother had a modded 91 TT Z. Hella fast car. You don't see many of them around anymore.
Traded 05 SXT mtx, for new 07 Fusion SE I4 5A.

Its a fairly common thing now. My '05 F-150 has a coil for every plug too.

Tell him to be careful with the wiring. The wires in those things like to light the car on fire.
He is unworthy of the name of man who is ignorant of the fact that the diagonal of a square is incommensurable with its side.

Sad that your buddy is in debt out the ass for a car now.... and what's worse is that they are high maint. vehicles... so they require a lot of money to keep them up and running good.. especially if modified... so hopefully your friend has good credit. ;) Pop out more loans.. lol
